
About Lex
Alexis began at a young age painting, working with various mediums, and developing a love for the creative arts. She later on discovered a love for motion and storytelling which led her to animation and design.
At Texas A&M International University, Alexis began her undergrad studying the fine arts, ballet, and modern & contemporary dance. She continued her studies in the fine arts at the Art Institute of Austin, where she was accepted into the animation program and graduated with a BFA in Media Arts & Animation. In her Creative Showcase & panel evaluation, Alexis presented her portfolio and graduated with a specialization in illustration, 2d animation, and motion graphics.
Experience
Alexis began her career as a design intern at Citygram Austin Magazine. She later became a remote designer at a start-up agency located in Dallas, Made by Carlos (now known as Diaz Ad Group), and worked her way to become an associate art director. Alexis provided brand direction, design, content creation, and worked with over 20+ clients in various industries.
Simultaneously, Alexis began her freelance career and has been helping brands and entrepreneurs tell stories through branding, web, and content creation for 10 years.
